Top Gear USA - Episode 2

Postby I`m Batman » Mon Nov 29, 2010 9:14

Well... I thought it was much better than the first, I thought... I did miss the first 15 mins though. Maybe it'll get better. I'm warming up to it.

Like some of you said... if you haven't seen the UK version, this is a pretty good car show when you're not comparing it to the real deal.

Yeah I only saw the last 40 minutes of it myself but I thought it was decent again. I liked the blind drifter segment haha.

I haven't seen the first one yet, so I'll wait to watch this...but I still don't get the point of an American version, personally. The silly British humour is probably 90% of why I like Top Gear in the first place...without that, it's like they're trying too hard to be "cool"

The history channel has the second episode on their website, so you don't even have to feel guilty about watching it for free online, woot. *sits down to watch*

Does anyone else find it funny this show airs on the History channel?

I thought Ep. 2 wasn't half bad, and a lot less awkward feeling than Episode 1. Looking forward to more! I'm pretty sure I like Top Gear USA, see it as more Top Gear programming when there are no new Top Gear BBC eps to watch. Can't have too much of this stuff. :)
