Update for those following along/interested. We are polishing up our business plan and have lined up equipment. We will soon begin the process of hunting for investors and getting this baby out of the kitchen

. We will be doing some discussing today actually and i'll keep you guys updated but there is a possibility we will postpone the large scale brewpub (15 barrel system) for a short time and open a small nano brewery (roughly a 3 barrel system) and being to sell to local restaurants in Boulder and Colorado Springs first. Get our recipes down and save some money in the short term to make it in the long term. A nano brewery is looking more and more like what we will/should do right now. If all works out you guys might soon be able to purchase yourselves some Open Door brews at a local restaurant near you. I'll update you guys again once we have finalized a bit more on this.

Also a number of new updates on both our facebook page and blog. We also have a twitter (ewwwww) if you so happen to 'tweet'??? This twitter is a foreign concept and strange to me, but follow us if ya do!

You very well might be able to once we get it up and running!

Oh, i also forgot to mention that four of our beers are currently in competitions in Colorado. Wish us luck!

For the "large" scale brewpub/microbrewery yes, the idea is to be in Boulder. For the nano brewery we would also like to be in Boulder, but in order to save on expenses we are also looking at the surrounding area; Superior, Louisville, Longmont, ect. Might be a little drive for us, but rent on property out there is far less than in Boulder for the small upstart portion of our business.

That was my thought exactly. Plus by now, brew pubs in boulder are a little bit cliche. Seems you might do better where the need / desire is a little bit greater.

Can't give to much info right now, but we will be meeting with some very interested investors/partners later today. More info as we get it/can give it.
