Good work Jimmy. Way to put her in her place, especially after they were laughing. I wish you could have pulled up next to them after that and asked them how they liked getting used haha.
Way to keep your cool Alex, I'm not sure I could have done the same haha.

I love doing that, lol. Keep with them at half throttle, then scare the crap out of them when I put it to the floor.

I love do that to mess with slower cars like civics that are revving obnoxiously and driving like idiots when they take off i rap out the gears slowly almost hitting redline at 25-50% throttle shifting all fast lime im actually trying. and then when they actually try to race me and they start bouncing of the revlimiter i just go balls to the wall and put a walmart on them before the speedlimit.

So I kinda feel guilty for this I normally dont mess around but i was all hyper, in a good mood, and havent got on my car in a while. and dude was doing his best impression of fast and the furious.
I'm about to turn right on academy just north of austin bluffs when i hear tire chirps wheel hop. and the screaming sound of a honda launching it from the light full throttle tiny engine screaming. and realize it is a mid 90s 4 door civic DX that is beat up with fartcan. steel wheels and chrome hubcaps. massive wing and clear tails. some teenager with his hat on cockeyed reclined back and the one hand on the top of the steering wheel. IIRC the dx had like 80hp off the showroom at sealevel... not 200k+ miles later and at 5k+ altitude. may be putting 40-50whp down if hes lucky. but he was still managing to pull away from the traffic. so as he gets to me in the far left lane. I turn into the far right lane and as soon as he gets a little past me to me I pin the throttle. immediately matching speed next to him and flatshift into second rocketing away from him. meanwhile spinning the tires like a hoon. the look of WTF just happened on his face was priceless. I know it was mean especially since i f I do race I usually go after much bigger targets in the 300 stock bhp range.

Some guy in a mid to late 90's integra wanted to race me this morning. I drove the 8 again with no tires. I know still? Well he had gauges on the pillar, Sound of a BOV and a black plume of smoke coming out the exhaust. He wanted to race so bad. I wasn't going to but I did after we chatted at a stop light. We went from a roll. He lost. Asked if I was twin turbo and amount of boost and he said, "oh that's why! I'm only running 6lbs."
I left him like he was standing still. Did I mention he had a 5-point harness?

Oddly enough, I was challenged by a kid in a Civic with an uber-rice exhaust while up north off of 104th late at night a couple nights ago on my bike.
He stares over... then quickly looks back at the light... trying to get that perfect reaction time... he's giving it a little gas as I look over at him for a second, thinking "this kid is an idiot". The light turns green, and I'm sure his adrenaline is pumping, his tires squeal as he is surely living his life a 1/4 mile at a time. Onward into 2nd I hear his tires chirp as he shifts (didn't think he had enough torque to chirp the tires haha!).
Me? I slowly rolled my bike off the line... and drove like a normal human being just trying to make it safely to my destination, shaking my head at some idiot kid who is likely going to lose his license in short order. I guess I'm just getting too old for this shit, and try to not encourage the kiddies... I haven't had a ticket in about 4 years now, my insurance is now pretty low/cheap and am looking into a career where things like "street racing" are automatic dis-qualifiers. To all potential challengers on the street: you win haha.
Yeah, I guess I'm just getting old, LOL.

Yep, I generally don't waste my time (or gas) on stuff that won't be a challenge. If some kid in a riced out Civic wants to think they beat a new Mustang, they can go ahead and think that. The second they try to tell that story to someone they will get laughed at anyway.
I did have some douche in a new Charger driving like an ### on Powers last night though. Apparently he had been messing around with another new 5.0 and he wanted to pass him before they caught up to me. In doing so, he came awful close to clipping my rear bumper at 90+ mph. Some middle aged guy with his wife in the car too, not even a dumb kid.

Had a little run with an older STi the other day. He followed me into a left turn lane and once we got on the new street I punched it and he tried to keep up but was slowly falling farther behind.

Run-in with a debadged 5 series BMW. Heading onto the freeway from a curvy on-ramp. He was in front and got on it before I did. Didn't matter. Went from 2nd into 5th and with each change of the gear I kept creeping up on him. I'd say he had a good 2 car lead. We were neck and neck at the end of fourth. In 5th I strolled on by, front tire past his bumper and I shut it down. Poor Asia man he was mad and just kept going from the emberassment. I believe it to have been a 535i I'm not sure I could take a 550 on.
Keep in mind that I was shifting into gear early so I did not reach top speed in each gear.
