My only other caveat to this is the annoying ### old people or terrified driver going 15mph holding up 20 cars and actually making a bad situation worse. If you're that bad at driving in snow get the #### off the road or move to a place where it doesn't snow so you don't put other people's lives in jeopardy. Driving that slow forces other people to pass you creating more danger.

+1

What makes me even angrier is people that drive like this during good conditions, during the summer haha.

Cast me in with that lot as well. I know I'm anti-social, and there's a reason for it lol.

Thanksgiving night of 08 it started snowing while I was at my boss' house east of town. I was going up a slight incline on my way home (not a whole lot of snow, but the roads were slick enough) and I just BARELY pushed on the gas pedal to give it a little more, and it started going sideways and I went into oncoming traffic. I went off their side of the road, barely getting across in time for a car that was coming, I stayed on it and got back on the road and white-knuckled it the rest of the way home haha. However, it is RWD with 295s on the rear and about 400hp at that time, so it's not the best idea haha. I had no idea it was supposed to snow though.

I do agree with you there. You didn't really know and got caught unexpected. going up hill on any car is difficult so that's the .1% where driver has no option but to crash/near crash. now if you decide to DD a 400+ whp rwd car on bald tires and sitting 1" off the ground. then.......... that would be just plain stupid

Also its more of when people have the option to drive on a safe environment, but don't. I was driving at 5am on a small avenue so the snow plows hadn't even cleared it once. I must have been the first car to pass in hours, so the car behind me should have stuck behind me. when he/she passed me I was going 30mph in a 40mph zone. after passing me we were going just under 25mph...... he/she kept sliding to the side. I decided to stay behind the car just to enjoy a comedic drive. what would have made it better if he/she got stuck in the snow. I would of course kept driving. lol I love to tow cars out of the way during winter but in this occasion driving away would have made me feel good.

I used to DD my 7, but that was back in NC haha. I don't even DD it during the summer anymore haha.

I agree with following people that are making a path though, that's what I meant haha.

My parents and:
Grades - I get one bad grade, it immediately gets brought up as soon as they can mention it. Example: I got a bad grade on my last chem test, so they brought it up the night my teacher put the test in the gradebook. However, they never say anything about good grades. They bring up one bad grade, I have 3 more good ones to bring up (98 on my last Enviro test, 90 on my last gov test, 15.5/16 on the homework quiz I had in chem later in the week). Do any of those ever get mentioned? Nope. They haven't ever said anything about a good grade unless I told them I got a good grade on a test.
Household tasks - I've got some papers and stuff piled on my desk right now that they want me to clean up (half of which I didn't put there, everything gets piled on my desk usually when someone is "cleaning up") and my mom recently repainted my room and decided that absolutely everything in my closet (did I mention my dad uses half of the closet space in my room along with 2 drawers in my dresser and an extra clothes rack in his room) had to be sorted through. They keep bugging me to do it literally 10 times at least every day. I keep telling them I will do it because they just want it done before the trash comes tomorrow. I finally tell me dad that he gets mad at me for being a nudge and always bringing things up, he should try being me for a day and listening to how many times he mentions everything. They get mad at me for not doing things quick enough, but I don't put it off as long as they do. Last time I asked my dad to think about an idea I had (don't even remember what at this point), he went a month without ever coming to a decision. Every time I asked, he kept saying that he hadn't thought about it.

Dishes/Unloading the Dishwasher - It's just a pet peeve, but I hate unloading all the tupperware from the dishwasher. It's also annoying having to constantly reorganize the cupboard the tupperware is in because if I'm not the one to unload the dishwasher, it turns into a mess. Apparently my parents missed the memo in kindergarten that square pegs don't go in round holes. And when doing the dishes, my dad always leaves the "big" stuff for me to do (pots, pans, large serving dishes, etc). It just pisses me off that he can never finish it completely. I never ask him to finish anything when I do the dishes, but he can never do it himself.

Hate to break it to you, but you'll be fighting with tupperware in the dishwasher and in the cupboards for the rest of your life. It sucks.

Being sick and having to use my "last" rollover vacation time this year to not gain a point for absence or miss pay. I missed pay yesterday and gain a pt because of being sick. BLAH!

Also, my job and the ridiculous stats they want you to make or you'll be fired in X amount of months. However this goes for another thread and question about jobs :P

I used to work in a call center in a previous life(looks at shadow) they wanted us to keep calls averages under 2 minutes. This included initial
contact, troubleshooting and resolution. I don't work there anymore.

^ That is so true, pat.

tsxguy:: Yep pretty much. Except they want us between 490 seconds - 595 this month. Most of my calls are between 590-700 seconds this month due to stupid shit.. and i'm on a final/written warning, if my stats THIS month arent up, I am fired. It's pretty ridiculous to me.
