You can get an Ariel Atom for 50k or less and run circles around most 200k supercars, but it still isn't the same as owning that car you've dreamed of your whole life. But yea I'd rather have a 911 Turbo (preferably coupe, not convertible) than a GT3 just because you can daily drive it and be very comfortable, yet it will still perform very well at the track. The GT3 is a little more raw and built mainly for the track.

Plus, at altitude, a boosted car is almost always going to be a better bet than N/A. The GT3s would lose a lot of their oomph up here.

I wasn't talking about modding the piss out of a car to make it fast...just a few parts and the FD can hang with the GT3. The reason I said that is that is the reason I don't want to own one, since I have a car that can already go nearly as fast. I guess I didn't make that clear.

For less money the Turbo is quicker especially for our altitude, and the all-wheel drive is great, plus the extra luxury features. If I wanted to go all out, I'd get a GT2, but I love turbos.

Just my 0.2 cents

but what if the supercar that i have wanted all my life is about $40k?? :p
yes i dream of owning a westfield/caterham. fast as hell with only 200hp convertible and handles better than a gokart.
wont be comfortable but thats the price you pay to play.. and i have the miata as a daily.

Then you have a pretty good shot at owning your ultimate dream car someday. I probably will never get a chance to own a 911 Turbo S. :( I'll keep saving my pennies and hopefully be able to buy a 10-15yr old used one someday heh.

Actually it shouldn't be all that long before I can afford a 50k car. Hopefully by the end of the decade, maybe sooner. We'll see. I had to promise to keep this car for 4 years or she wouldn't sign the papers after only having the MS3 for a year and 4 months lol.

I didn't get a chance to snap a picture, but I saw a black and white Dodge Viper on I-25 heading south from about Orchard when I first saw it (got on behind it and caught up) until I got off at Dry Creek.

Of all the things to see today, I ended up seeing a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo in the Tech Center heading east on Belleview and watched it turn onto Ulster St I believe. And what was at the stop light heading south on Ulster? A Maserati Quattroporte. And some sort of Porsche 911 as well.

F430
F355- Parked in front of a house for a couple days in the garden district. Must be nice to casually park your Ferrari outside.
Muira (bright green.. just.. wrong)

Sorry no pics, either me or the cars passed by too quick.
