The tires came in last night. Had them installed and I'm going to test fit them on the car in a little bit.

When I took them to get the tires mounted last night the kid put one of the 295/30s on a 9.5 and put a 255/35 on a 10.5 and was complaining because he couldn't get the bead to seat. And this is what he does for a job...yikes. But they fixed it and this is what I got back.

Ian, that's what tripped me out. I've seen more stretch on others. That's why it made it extra pathetic haha. I'm not one for stretched tires though, so...

So I mounted them on the car with Shine's wide front fenders to test fitment on everything. First thing I noticed, this needs to come WAY down, like an inch in the rear and probably 1/2 or 3/4 in the front. I also need spacers in the rear. My RPF1s were +15 and these are +22, so ideally if they made a 7mm spacer I'd be all set haha. However, I'm thinking maybe 5mm, but I'm also wondering about 10mm. I think I'll probably go with 5 though. What does the jury think? I'm also still torn on the fenders. I think the passenger side is slightly not as wide as the driver's, but at this point I might be splitting hairs haha. Oh, and before I mounted them I noticed some gouges on the inside of the wheels...all the way around...on all the wheels...not happy.

wow those firestone guys just dont know how to handle wheels.

hmm a 8mm spacer should be fine. we can try out my spacers to see if you like the fitment. 10 is alot, 7 cant really find, 5 isnt enough. lol

Indeed, they do not.

Actually I was thinking of getting an 8mm spacer. If those spacers are for an FC I think the bore will be a bit off. I'd still like to try them if I can though. Yeah 10mm would take me to +12, 5mm will only take me to +17. On one hand 2mm less than what I have currently isn't much of a difference but neither is 3mm more than what I have haha.

Thanks! I think tonight I'm going to jack it back up and adjust the suspension to lower it. I'd also like to try those spacers Ian has to see what I should get for that. I'm leaning more toward 5mm but we'll see haha.

+1 to what Ian said, 8mm spacer for the rear, but bring the coilovers down first so you see how it sits.

Well I might just get a 10mm because I didn't take into account the extra width from the tires bulging out. We'll see once I lower it tonight.

So what are you doing with your old RPF1's? Track wheels?

Simon is getting them, and then Frank is getting Simon's RPF1s. When I get track wheels I'm going to get 17s.
