Yea it's not a short trip from the Springs either, so I'd agree the afternoon would be best. Full day would be nice but I'm not sure I want to beat on my car for that long at a time, heh. At least until I see how the new brakes hold up to some hard lapping (when I get around to buying them that is).

A half day is a ton of driving. Even if they split the groups, thats 2 full hours on the track and that is a lot. Once the car is warm, I like to go out for about 6 laps with a cool down lap. You can get quite a bit of these sessions in in a half day.

I just check the dates and will not be able to attend. That is the weekend of the Rocky Mountain Mustang Round Up in Steamboat. Had an awesome time last year and will not miss it. For all you car guys, I highly recommend making it up at least once in your like. Probably the best car event I have ever been to. http://www.rmmr.org check it out

We can meet at the Shell right near I-25 in
Loveland. Figure I have to pass by there anyway. But I'm open to anywhere.

I've got eye surgery on the 17th of this month. So I'll have just under a month to heal back up for this. But I'm going even if someone has to drive me!!!

I'm still planning on going to this. Just got new Hawk HP+ brake pads in yesterday and have some ATE Super Blue brake fluid on the way. Was hoping to get a GoPro before then but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Was able to get a short shifter though and it's on the way too and will be installed before the track day.

I got my time off so I'm buying my afternoon half-day pass sometime this week!! Super stoked.

I also just bought a Go Pro with a suction cup mount so anyone is free to use it if I'm not running it on the track when you are.

I believe to spectate there isn't any cost to get in, but I could be wrong. I wouldn't anticipate it anymore than $20 if there is a fee.

Got my session paid for and time off approved so everything is a go. Did you guys get any kind of confirmation when you paid? I paid through Paypal and it didn't give me any kind of confirmation number or anything. I can show them the email from Paypal for the payment I guess but I figured there'd be something else I'd need to show them when I get there.

Just about a month away. Finish fixing up those cars, and tweaking whatever needs work. Get the tires taken care of, take care of an oil change, brake pads, rotors, fulids, etc......
