Simon wants the tires just as much as he wants the wheels. THAT is why he's getting mine and Frank is getting his, because Frank doesn't care if they're silver or black and he doesn't want the tires.

I just finished lowering the car some more. Maxxed out the rear struts as low as they could go, but I think they'll have to come back up just a tad. The fronts are pretty well good to go though. I'm going to take it out for a spin so it settles and see where it stands. Also, the lowest part of my diffuser is only about an inch and a half off the ground haha, so I may have to get the RE-A Street diffuser anyway, and I know Simon would love that because he has first dibs on this diffuser too haha. I love not having to pay for shipping. The last pic is of the rear part of the sideskirt and how close it is to the ground.

I put the spacers on tonight. Pics below.

And I'm not for sure yet I'm switching diffusers, but I do like them both. And Phil's car has changed quite a bit since that pic.

Yeah that wheel and tire setup would be pretty nice.

So after installing the spacers I discovered that I'm going to get NO LESS than 8mm spacers. 8mm would be perfect because it would give me the option of going with a little less camber and still not rub, but if I have to go with 10mm spacers I will. And if anyone wants to see some more ridiculous Nazi-ish moderating, check out the new picture thread on rx7club. I swear I'm about 2 seconds away from deleting my account over there.

There were enough to tighten it down and feel somewhat comfortable about it but I'm still going to get longer studs, probably ARP. And someone on 7club was talking about how they got some custom hubcentric spacers made by a place on eBay for about $50. I contacted them and they can do mine too.

The moderation on the picture thread on 7failclub has gotten outta control. Basically they just want you to post up pictures and not talk, at all. What fun is that? I don't want to PM someone just to ask them a simple question like "what wheels size/offset is that?" It's pointless, and it's a god damn FORUM, meant for ASKING QUESTIONS. I guess we should all just PM each other the questions, huh? I swear they're trying to turn it back into the old days of "forums" like the email lists.....

What kills me is there could be several people wanting to know the same info from a person yet they each have to PM the person, flooding their inbox, when a simple response on a FORUM thread (like Dave said) could have handled it. It's RIDICULOUS! It seems like there is ZERO common sense over there anymore. There are only a handful of mods over there that are worth a shit anymore.

I also hate how FD owners seem to bash on their cars all the time over there, too. That stupid thread right now with some idiot comparing the FD (at $12-$20k car) with a Porsche GT3 (a $113k car) and how the FD sucks compared to it. Then go buy a freaking Porsche!!! God damn people over there are stupid...
