Yeah, and the SS is still a first-model-year car, at least for now.

My plan is to drive the MS6 until it's paid off, then use it for a down payment on a 2011 Camaro SS used. Muahahahahahaha.

On Halloween, I was next to a Lexus (I cannot remember the model) and we were driving side by side for a few miles on Hampden. We caught a red light and were next to each other and he took off when it turned green. I didn't realize we were going to race so I punched it and took him a lot quicker than I thought I would have. It was awesome. I definitely won that, without even realizing we were going to race. Bree must have really good reaction time!

LOL challenged today by some Air Force E-4 in an Accord....and I was driving the Grand Cherokee. I was trying to pass him so I could get in his lane and turn, but he decided he didn't want that and gunned it.

What's funny -- I could have beat him. Instead, I stayed even with him for a minute to make a point, then fell in behind. What a moron.

I raced a guy in my f350 haha. I thought I would get stomped- he has an autotragic mid 90's Chevy 1500 ZR off-road with the 5.7 V-8. I got a good 5,000lbs on him, LOL, so I thought it would be no contest but I was surprised my 196,000 mile 460 big block didn't let me down! I kept up with him through 4th and he pulled slightly ahead. I was really, really, surprised.

Yeah, I love the V8 in the Jeep. It's just the 4.7L, but it's still got plenty of torque...more than the MS6, actually.

I walked all over a riced out del sol on the way to work tonight. He was driving kinda crazy thry traffic on I25 and took me a bit to catch up. Once we hit clear road and lined up it was no contest, I dropped a gear when I heard him rev up and dropped a gear and before I shifted I was at least a bus length ahead of him hehe. He came up racing up after I slowed to the speed limit and I guess wanted another go, so I didn't even wait...I dropped again and left him behind me....took the broadway exit and headed back north to get to work hehe. This is the only reason I love honda owners lol

challenged two nights in a row by the same dodge magnum (R/T). The first night we were next to each other at a red light. I didn't pay any attention until I noticed he was staying right next to me (I was just cruising). I dropped it into 2d and went almost through third. He stayed right on my rear quarter panel but could not pass me.

Second night, him and his friend this time pulled up next to me at the same light (there was a car in front of both of us this time). The car in my lane turned and I continued to drive normally. He started to tail gate me so I decided to go a extra slow (I was in the slow lane already) and he could have passed me but he wanted to stay on my ass. We were approaching the "S" curve on Cheyenne meadows (which my 8 can take at well over 50 mph). HE finally went to pass me. I dropped it into 2d again, shift to 3d and kept about a car length on him until I had to turn into my neighborhood.

I was challenged by an NSX this morning. They are not as fast as I thought. I actually pulled on him. After I pulled on him 2 times, he flew by me like a dumbass and I backed off, no need for me to do 90+ in a 65 in traffic.

I was looking for 1/4 mile times for CO and couldn't find any. At sea level it looks like they do between 13.8 and 14.2 depending on the year. So in CO, I would guess they were at about 14.5 to 15 which really isn't that great for the cost of the car.

 Ouch!

I posted this in the spotted forum to see if it was anyone here. A silver RX7 (83ish) flew by me the other day and I was already speeding. Wasn't as loud as yours though Chris :)

Yeah NSX's aren't that fast, in a straight line. They can be made into a beast with lots of money, though

I have a story from my drive home from work tonight.

I ended up taking a different route home, and I came across another turbo car. I could see these blue HID's coming up on me fast and at first I just ignored it. Then the car got beside me and I could see the gauges down the pillar of his srt4. He was pacing me for a while, but I made no move. I didn't end up getting a stoplight, or a break in traffic at all, but I did get a major reality check lol. I was feeling pretty confident with my car, but then while pacing me again at about 60 mph he hit it and holy ***t I have never seen a car move like that. It roasted the tires at 60 mph and put like a bus length on myself and the traffic around me instantly once it got grip. Whats the reality check here? Theres always a bigger fish.
