I'd rather have a Skittle than the current SRT-4. I know, I know...they're fast. But the Caliber is FUGLY. It's like that chick in high school who was chubby and homely, but slept with everyone because she was fast.

Oh fuck no I wouldn't want the Caliber SRT-4. That thing is ugly as shit. I had a Caliber as a rental car when I was getting work done on my 8 once and wow, what a piece of shit. Interior parts fell off, it rattled and made horrible noises, got terrible gas mileage, and felt completely numb. I had a Chevy Impala rental car once that felt more responsive, LOL.

I think the black ones look good, but they just feel too bulky to me, and they sit all high, almost like an SUV. They are a little faster in a straight line than my MS3 but I'll give up that little bit of speed for a much nicer interior and better handling, and feeling like I'm driving a car and not a truck.

Played w/ an older (96-98) mustang gt on the way home from work tonight. Didn't know he wanted some fun until he started pulling away from me, so I down shifted and pulled up, waived (prolly couldn't see it tho) and pulled away from him. After another couple miles he did it again and was a couple car lengths ahead of me before I reacted (i'm tired, i've been up since 6am thursday morning) but again caught up and pulled on him. We got up to (i did anyways) about 125 before i killed it. Anyways, good way to end the night tho!

Yeah, that's my problem with them. They can't decide if they want to be an SUV or a car.

I see them as mini SUV's. Not a Crossover but mini. Like the Scion Xb, Kia soul, or the Cube. But just bigger than them.

I do love the seats in the Caliber SRT-4 though.

Oh and one other nitpicky thing that I hate about them and sadly a major reason I wouldn't buy one: they have locks that stick up out of the door sill. So you can't cruise around with your window down and your arm on the window sill unless you want to be poked in the arm by the door lock. That really bugs me and I will likely never buy a car with those style locks.

Challenged by a Redfire Metallic Mustang GT tonight. Had the opportunity to line up beside him at a traffic light. Could still have made it to my destination on time. But I chose to turn right instead and avoid the whole thing. But that car looks NICE in that color...I'm biased, though, since my 6S was Redfire....

Totally agree! THE Caliber SRT4 is a disaster (appearence wise)....

I was coming home late at night (one night) and was approaching the S curve on Cheyenne MEadows when a black one screamed up next to me. I down shifted to second and punched it. I was in the outside lane (closest to the curb) and as we approached the first curve he almost ran me off the road and up onto the curb (I had him too, but had to brake, other wise he would have hit my left rear fender and pushed me into the curb,)! I was so pissed! He then rolled down his window and apologized and said he was completely shit faced. He wanted to go again but I declined and continued home.

Yea people driving at normal speeds while drunk is dangerous enough, let alone trying to race. I would have written down his plate and reported his ass.
