Wow! I never anticipated such a passionate discussion out of this thread. 6 pages! I didn't read every reply, but from what I gather we have two very different camps in terms of who likes it and who doesn't. I didn't post a reason why I don't like the style of drop in the first post, but it has to do with functionality. I personally think those who choose to do so to their cars is in a way destroying the very purpose of the car. Maybe even more so with performance minded cars. I just don't see any functionality to it.
I think it was Jimmy who did some research and discovered the difference between hellaflush and stanced. From what I gather is I don't seem to care for hellaflush. I do however like this:
Which I gather from the watermark is stanced. This I like, and don't see it negatively effecting the car in such a drastic way the other style does.
Anyhow I'm glad I could get such a good discussion going off of a single photo.

It's for when drifting goes bad and you flip. With a set mounted up top you can just keep going. I hear you get more points that way.
