I watched my friends 500whp WRX smoke 3 bikes back to back two weeks ago haha. They were so pissed

I walked 600's in the mazda, liter bikes would be a different story. Lol.

But, to continue the thread: took the evo out Sunday and destroyed two mustangs (04 and a 11). Had the new one been a 5.0, it would have been a different story.

Took the Miata out and destroyed a Hyundai Accent that had one of those political bumper stickers and a mismatched panel. He thought he could pass me in the fast lane....Had that fool by half a car length before reaching my exit!

You don't think your evo could run with a 5 liter mustang? I figured a stock evo could hang and you have done some power upgrades. Maybe if you went from a dig? :D

An Evo should definitely hang with a 5 liter mustang. My Saab 9-3 Aero can keep up with them and handles better...

An '11 is a 5.0. If it had the newer body style but a GT badge instead of 5.0 on the fender, it was a '10, and yea, all Mustangs pre-'11 (other than the Terminators) were painfully slow. It's why I had no interest in them until the new 5.0.

As for Evos/STis keeping up with new 5.0s, if you're modded and they're stock, shouldn't be a problem. Stock for stock it's not close though. Even at altitude I dyno'd 305whp uncorrected, while stock Evos/STis dyno in the 220-230 range.

That said, any given race can come down to drivers anyway so that's not to say that only dyno numbers determine races.

Yeah, but it would have to take a huge discrepancy in drivers to make up the 80 whp difference.

I honestly didn't know the WHP on the STi and EVO. When riding in the STI, it feels way more powerful than that.

I do not race in my S2K unless cornering is involved. I smoke fools to the stop light on on ramps :D

I always feel bad for people I see driving the '10s. If they'd just held out for one more year, heh. 100hp difference.

I was smashing some bro in a Scion TC and then saw a huge dip in the road so i slammed on the brakes and he went home probably talking about beating me.

But for real, finally owning a turbo car is amazing

They handle great too. Gone are the days of Mustangs not being able to turn.

Ugh. I can't wait to have time to get my 8 back together. Long story short I've just been too busy and tired after work to do anything. People are always trying to race me but I'm in the Grey 8. Just need to plop the turbo back in and my new double din stereo. Maybe after I get back from Brazil.
