Ha ha ha, thanks for that. I've been having a rough day. (continues chuckling) Peyton and Erod sitting in a tree?

Absolutely agree with Eric. Not Erod-Eric, but the other one:D

Ok fine, I'll amend it to "one of" the best quarterbacks of all time. Surely even in your blinding Peyton-hate rage you can admit he's one of the best ever. I friggin can't stand Elway and can at least admit he was one of the greats.

And the reason no other horrible players get the hate Tebow does is no other horrible players have a huge fanclub that will defend him no matter how terrible he is. It's not really Tebow that people rage against. It's his fans who apparently don't watch football and think he is some kind of great player.

Agree: Peyton is one of the greats. I can't say as there has ever been a QB that earns the title of "best". Whereas (for me) Jordan had that "it" factor that made him the "best". Granted, stats don't lie-- but he transcended the game.
Disagree: Tebow is an untalented/unskilled player.

Oh he has plenty of talent and skill. Just not at the quarterback position. He'd make a great tight end or maybe even a big running back. He just doesn't have the capability to throw the ball effectively in the NFL. And no team in the NFL right now would be made better by having him as their QB instead.

Hey, I'm just saying what it looks like to me. I don't watch football and I'm not claiming that he's a great player. I could care less actually. I just think it's funny how much hate he gets and yet "it has nothing to do with his religion". lol I'm not saying that's the reason for everyone, I just calls it like I sees it.

The "hate" doesn't have anything to do with his religion. His rabid fan base has everything to do with his outward display of faith, which I have no problem with. What actual football fans can't wrap their head around is why a marginal backup QB garners so much attention. However, when people claim he's no good, his supporters automatically jump to his defense saying he's "hated on" because of his faith. He's football's Anna Kournikova, for different reasons.

Anna Kournikova was ranked 8th in the world at one point though. I felt her appearance was overrated more than her tennis game.
