I started to write a post detailing some artists I listen to, then realized that since I've been 'scrobbling' (logging listened track titles from iPhone/PC) forever, last.fm knows more about what I listen to than I probably do... And so (cut and paste from last.fm, edited to include youtube links to some okay singles):

I'm into electronic, electro, chillout, indie, and ambient, including:
Röyksopp, Muse, Air, Sébastien Tellier, Boards of Canada, Datassette, Lemâitre, Esbjörn Svensson Trio, The Cinematic Orchestra, Mellow, Skrillex, Daft Punk, Medeski, Martin and Wood, Siriusmo, Aphex Twin, Mouse on Mars, Ulrich Schnauss, I Cactus, YMCK, Breakbot, Stay Ali, Brian Eno, Grandaddy, Zero 7, Tahiti 80, The Beatles, Guster, Javelin, Shook, Mondo Grosso, Radiohead, Four Tet, Art of Noise, Chromeo, Phish, Death Cab for Cutie, Super Furry Animals, Sunny Day Real Estate, Fleet Foxes.

Hell yeah Chromal I like your taste: Röyksopp, Muse, Aphex, Chromeo

I have a long a$s list too much to mention, but here are some of my tops:
IAMX, Golden Filter, Goldfrapp, B.O.B., Lupe Fiasco, Cid Kudi, Analog Rebellion, Balkan Beat Box, Bjork,
Big Boi, Blur, Florence & Machine, Buraka Som Sistema, Citizen Cope, Tricky, Massive Attack and i'm sick of writing them out so I'll stop there.

Shake me down cage the eliphant

Lay me down dirty heads

Epilogues hunting season

Around the word daft punk

Breaking, impossible . Anberlin

Typical. Tickle me pink

Lazy eye. Silversun pickups

Flobots

Rise against

Animal. Neon trees

Calling all skelotons. Alkaline trio

Gold guns girls

Girfriends . Single file

Sex and candy . Marcy

Back against the wall cage the eliphant

Dispositon by temper trap

Paint the silence by south

Meant to live, switchfoot

The cave, mumford

some are bands and not songs. I write the song down when I remember it so I can remember it later again and download it.

I like Glen Campbell but I'm not so big into John Denver and Barry Manilow is about 50-50 for me.

I actually have a large collection of albums, about 800. 200 of which are 78s. My album collection goes from about 1915 to the late 80s. So I listem to a lot of music from long before you were born, lol.

The stuff from 1915 sounds a lot like the Roaring 20's music but a little slower.
