Personally, i understand that they need more money due to the decrease in fuel being purcheased, but frankly i do not feel that this is the way to do it. Hell im all for small infastructure. What do some roads even NEED to be paved? Also what will that mean for older cars? Would they keep the fuel tax as well? I really just do not like it, not only for possible "being followed" things.
I would avoid buying anything that tracks what i do nor would i want to be taxed (more) for driving. I gaurentee that if the highway system is anything like government spending for the military, many unneed projects could be slashed and costs reduced in many areas.
Frankly, were screwed either way. I would almost suggest returning to the use of railway to pay for long shipping and revert back to a sence of locality.

Or we could just stop useless gov't spending, especially on people that put nothing back into the coffers and never have. I'm pretty sure that would help. Just sayin.
This is the kind of crap we can expect to see more and more these days. Hey, let's grow the gov't, that's a GREAT idea. Gimme a break.
