Went to the concert Tuesday night at Red Rocks with some buddies from work. Foster the People, Kimbra and Mayer Hawthorne. We really went for Mayer but everyone was great. Really good concert. A little too much smoke for my liking though, if you know what I mean. I don't know why they can't just smoke that shit at home. Also the kids screaming extremely loud and shrill right behind my head. SHEESH. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Anyway, I didn't really know many of Foster's songs, but I came out liking a lot more than I thought I would. Kimbra was a surprise, didn't know she was even going to be there, but she was good too. And Mayer obviously rocked.

Makes me want to go to more concerts, but I'm not sure I can handle the additional things.

Very beautiful venue too. I had no idea it's been open since 1941.

LOL. I had a great time either way, and I've been listening to Foster the People almost exclusively since then lol.

I saw blues traveler and the wallflowers a number of years back at red rocks and it was the say way.

I guess some things never change.

Foster the People is good shit. I've tried getting into Kimbra because I love her voice on the Gotye song but her solo songs are just too much randomness for me. Never even heard of Mayer Hawthorne.

Yeah she was acting kinda funky and wearing some weird dress, but she was still good lol. I thought she was pretty cute in the Gotye video so I looked up some of her solo stuff and the first video I saw was the first video she sang at the concert, and I like it. This one...
