I dunno. I love Forza games, but this type of game has already been done with Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2. I'm sure it will be fun, but it won't really be Forza.

Yes, Forza finally made the game where you can have it in the streets instead of tracks, and not have unlimited nitrous etc... (screw you Need For Speed games), was that really Colorado @ 0:11 of the video?

The entire game is set in Colorado. I believe they recreated a bunch of the mountain roads and back country. Not sure of far into the City they went and how much they recreated but the front range and in the mountains was their focus.

I am looking forward to this. Probably won't buy it untill it's under $40 but it looks like a quality game. Forza graphics and physics in an open arcade-style world. It's like Grid and Forza mad a baby with the best of NFS. There is supposedly going to be a Grid II but I forgot when. I like racing games like Grid that are more realistic than the average arcade racer like NFS. Exciting, yet takes skill to control the cars and actually win, but not so serious like Forza.

I wonder if there is anyway to race the tracks we have here in CO. HPR, PPIR, maybe do the PP Hill Climb? We will see. Waiting Patiently for the demo to come out.

Or... it's like Forza just completely copied Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2. Which are both excellent games, by the way, if you haven't played them. I'm not trying to say Forza Horizon won't be a great game. I'm just saying it's not like some huge original innovation like they're trying to make it.

It's not a huge innovation. I did play the demo for Test Drive Unlimited 1 and did not like it. Test drive was over for me when this generation of consoles hit.

I'm looking forward to this. I am an avid Forza lover and this looks to be pretty cool. I just hope that the driving dynamic is close to Forza.

I believe that that is the big main deal about it. The driving dynamics are supposedly gonna be that of Forza or at least close to it. Where games like NFS and test drive are more arcade sims. Forza horizon is supposed to bring the feel of Forza to an open world. (Colorado)

That sounds great! NFS is great and all in its own right, but the driving dynamic of an actual race game (Forza) is to good to lose. If it's the same in Horizon as it is in Forza it will be a very fun game.

Test Drive's physics are actually very good. It is not nearly as much of an arcade racer (with unrealistic physics) as NFS games, which I've never cared for very much. Basically, if this game is essentially TDU3, which it sounds like it is, it will be great. If they have real Colorado roads, that would be even better. It would be awesome to race someone down Powers in a video game, heh.
