Okay, in the scene of people slamming their cars to the ground a bunch of people think bags are cheating. Taking the easy way out. To all the guys who do this it becomes a way of life. Avoiding obstacles, driving slow, paying for tires more often than anyone should have etc.. I didnt like it at first but once you realize what goes into it you start to respect them. They dont cause dangerous situations for other motorists. All of these people have DD's as well most of the time so they dont drive their car with excessive camber when its raining or snowing and what not.
I also would like to know why mazdaspeed's have to be race cars, not show cars how some of these are. Ive found several BT speed3's that are stupid low. You dont have to go fast. These people arent looking for performance gains, or perfect function. Its for show. Its funny that you mention Subaru's Learjet because this trend is more dominant in that scene than any others. By faaaaaaaar.
Their all about being as low as possible as a lot of you guys are about speed. There's so much more i could get into, different styles of being that low and etc.. Check out royal-origin.com and mazdafitment.com, both started by the owner of the true red speed3 i posted above and the picture that started this thread; more shots from diferent angles here http://www.wrongfitmentcrew.com/forum/showthread.php?42-SHaW-s-Mazdaspeed-Three/page17. He's one of the leaders in the fitment scene.

That looks absolutely retarded and is a crime against humanity. But, just as I'm entitled to have that opinion, you're entitled to have the opinion that it's awesome. If everyone had the same taste in everything the world would be a pretty boring place.

That white FD is Hisashi Nishida's car, he's on fb in one of our closed groups. I don't hate his car per se, I actually like the way it looks for what it is, but I'd never do it. I've seen videos of him trying to get out of a gas station that is BARELY even an incline. I have trouble getting out of and into my driveway with my car just as low as it is, and it almost makes me not want to drive the car at all. I guess there are different levels of what you'll put up with when it comes to this, and the older you get the more you get tired of dealing with it. I kinda like the hellaflush look sometimes, but I'd shoot myself if it became my lifestyle.

And as for the things you listed...

-Avoiding obstacles (most of the time easier to do when the car isn't quite as low)
-driving slow (I like to drive fast, which is why I have a sports car, so HELL no)
-paying for tires more often (I guess I could shoot myself in the foot over and over again, but why?)

Yeah, I'll stick with my car as low as it is and put up with it even being this low for as long as I can, all while also being more functional.

Alex, enjoy hellaflush all you want, but I don't think you'll be recruiting too many people on this lol. You'll just have to get over it I guess.

Also, about racecars, I disagree as well. There aren't too many racecars that I don't find sexy. Same with you and hellaflush.

II like the car. But those rims and how it sits doesn't look good. I feel
like it's struggling to stay upright. Should be in a Cars movie.
They just stick to much out. It does not look aggressive to me.

Back when this forum was in it's prime we had a bunch of speed3
guys. Lowered and they had really nice tight aggressive wheel
fitments. Those looked nice. Wish I could look up some pics but many
are not hosted anymore.

The link you posted. To me they look ridiculous. I have the same feeling
about Lowriders. It's okay though because there are people that like
them. Not everyone likes my car (especially the wing) but I do. As far as
the cars in the link it looks all wrong. To me the car looks like it was in
an accident with no body damage and the wheels all got pushed forward.
It's "hellalfush" with the top of the wheel well arch but has a small gap at
the front of it and a huge gap behind the tire.

This one is just horrid. Would look better and aggressive if it had proper
fitting tires so there wasn't a 1/4" of rim showing. Raised slightly higher
and that camber adjusted. That is a ridiculous amount of angle going on.

Image

I can definitely say it's not a style for everyone. Not everyone rolls a lifted
SUV or puts 15" rims and sticks them out a foot on their explorers. Not
everyone likes the Murdered-Out look. Ssome of the hellaflush cars I saw
on the web are tastefully done and some I can just laugh at. They are truly
comical.

Well I've learned exactly where to drive and sometimes I still scrape lol. I definitely teeter totter while pulling out though.

And your car was lower than mine so I'm not surprised lol.

I think that look is awful. I like cars that are funtional and usable. I don't really like the low can't go over speed bumps look either. I think that white rx looks like crap but I don't get all weak in the knees over FD's. I go for early 80's cars and older.
