I'm sure others are already aware of brake jobs with Brembo or other large calipers... But I really did laugh when I saw how big the brake pads were on the Evo. First time I had checked pads on it and just chuckled in amazement. Can't imagine something like a ferrari or GTR with even larger calipers and discs.

You got love a Miata. I miss mine and I could drive like that when it was dry. That car has been a good little car for you. Its funny how you tend to love the beaters.

Yea I bet I have 60hp at the wheels, lol. So no I can't get it sideways like that when it's dry. The studded snows will lose traction fairly easy though if you push it hard enough on dry pavement. Still, I don't like doing that because I want them to last.

And yea, it's been pretty reliable for me. The only issue I had was trying to drive it when it flooded because the drains were pinched off. Forgot that the ECU was on the floor on the passenger side where all the water was and it got wet. But once I let it dry out it was fine again. Resilient little thing.
