Got me a Subie...

Well actually, I got my wife a 2011 Subie Legacy 2.5i (26k miles, 6 spd). I was going to get her a 2015 but she said she didn't want a new car because she doesn't want to have to worry about where she parks. Picked this one up for 15.5k and it's practically brand new!

Anyway, I think Subie just got themselves a new loyal customer... Considering how BIG of a sedan the new Legacy is, it handle surprisingly well, and it's not a sport car, it's a family sedan. I'm guessing because of the balanced boxer engine and the lower center of gravity. That thing has little to no body roll in the corners and it runs and drive so smooth. I love it! She loves it! The interior is HUGE!!! I also love how solid the car feels. I love the way the doors closes, it just makes a solid, yet gentle and quiet, sound and feel. Something you would get in a much more luxurious cars, like Mercedes.

That is all... Just wanted to share and give my brief review. :D

The one thing I don't like about that car is how slow it is.

We've had our Impreza 2.5i for 6 years and 60k miles (bought new) and we have had a great experience with it. It's a bit underpowered but it's been very reliable with no major issues whatsoever. Very happy Subie owner here.

Here's a picture taken just 2 mins ago after the rain.

Nothing fancy. It's not the most powerful thing out there but it gets the job done beautifully. I'm still surprised every time I drive this car (not often) on how well it handles.

If you want more power, you can get the Turbo version or the 3.6 Flat 6 version for more $$$. I just wanted an nice affordable and reliable AWD family sedan for my wife that will last us for years to come. Subies seems to fit that perfectly. Her old car is a VW Jetta VR6 so she can totally feel the power difference. As far as power goes, I have the MS3 for now... I am eying the new 2015 Mustang 5.0. We shall see...

By the way, anyone interested in buying a 2000 VW Jetta VR6? Still runs great. Nothing is wrong with it mechanically. :)

Ha, my wife went from a Jetta to her Subie too. '02 1.8T. And yea, big power difference. Only 10hp on paper but N/A at altitude vs boosted at altitude = much more than 10hp in reality.
