Thanks for coming out! Though I realized while driving back my camera didn't have the sd card in it (DOH!!!!!). So I've got no pics..... Let me know if you'd be up for next Tuesday. And this is open to anyone else who wants to join up. All said it was only about 2 hours.

Dude, our first shirt came around about 100 times trying to get us to volunteer for CFD. So damn annoying!

Yah, the Air Force actually signs a legal and binding agreement saying they will guarantee X number of airmen to be volunteered to work FOR FREE over the entire CFD event. Just so commanders on FE and the Guard Base have a better relationship with the elected officials of Cheyenne, and to look good.
Our commander has actually punished those who did not 'volunteer', by forcing them to come in on their off days for PT at 0630 and stay at the office until 1630 everyday until he says otherwise.
does this constitute as an unlawful order?

Haha, dude, that is typical AF. We recently got an e-mail saying that if we did not volunteer, we had to take leave! That can't be legal! JUST when I think the AF can't get any more ridiculous, it goes over the top. I've found myself in that situation often.
