Well... I don't wanna do the same vehicle. People have different driving styles and I want to account for that.

Cars in Forza 2 are broken down into classes. I think it's like D4 -> A1. Higher numbers and letters being better performance. All cars have a base performance level, and you can modify them beyond that. Any modifications you do though raises the cars class. The system works well. Something like a 3 rotor Miata will have the same class as some scary red pasta rocket... and for good reason.

Personally I don't care either way. But it's much more interesting for spectators to watch a variety of cars... especially ones that have been tweaked and customized.

Yess. I see your point. I will have to learn how to control my 8. Everytime I get out of a turn I lose control. I have to learn to ease into the throttle and point get the car straight before going all out. Practice time for me.

System Link? I have 2 360's I could bring. But no tv's. No room in the 8.

I didn't read through it all, but did we decided on what car class we plan on using? Im so used to the R1 and U class cars i will have to brush up on my lower class skills..

Me and the family may come down for the day just to watch and meet everyone. Sounds like fun. Can someone give me directions to the shop though as we will just meet you all there?

I don't think so but I'm practicing with my U999 8. So if need be I can tune it down. So let's figure out the class. I need some practicing.

Imo the best thing to do would be to not allow any moded cars... treat it as a factory spec race. That way its a bit more challenging since the car will more than likely suck that people wont be able to use their garage cars since its not their xbox. Unless of course their is a way to use your own garage cars from another xbox? What do you guys think?

Can't you use a memory card to take your cars with you? I'll test that out when I'm done.

On the topic of using factory spec. Not on this course. I'm managing 9 min a lap here with lots of crashes. So say about 7 min a lap since I suck. With factory spec cars That'd be a very long lap IMO. But I do want to say since it's a Mazda meet/D-day/Xbox tourney we keep it strictly mazda.

Cool. If i cant find one it wont be the end of the world. One or two laps around Mazda Laguna Seca and ill have the car down.
