Totally epic cruise today. Going down Highway 24 on those curves doing like 65 was totally awesome fun at the end.
I vote we start planning the next big cruise. End of may or beginning of june?

I'm actually looking on Google Maps right now. I think we could start at about the same place and actually head north to Boulder this time. It's about the same distance.
1. Head south on W Tufts Ave toward Co Rd 44/W Quincy Ave
2. Turn right at Co Rd 44/W Quincy Ave
3. Turn left onto the Colorado 470 W ramp
4. Merge onto CO-470 W
5. Take the exit onto US-285 S
6. Turn right at Co Rd 120/Parmalee Gulch Rd
7. Turn left to stay on Co Rd 120/Parmalee Gulch Rd
8. Keep left at the fork
9. Turn right at Bear Creek Rd
10. Take the 1st left onto Co Rd 23/Kerr Gulch Rd
11. Turn right to stay on Co Rd 23/Kerr Gulch Rd
12. Take the 1st right to stay on Co Rd 23/Kerr Gulch Rd
13. Turn left to stay on Co Rd 23/Kerr Gulch Rd
14. Turn left at CO-74 S/Evergreen Pkwy
15. Turn right at Co Rd 65
16. Turn left at US-40 W
17. Turn right at US-6 E
18. Turn left at CO-119
19. At the traffic circle, take the 4th exit onto W 2nd St
20. Continue onto CO-72 W/Caribou St
21. Turn right at Nelson St
22. Continue onto Utica St
23. Turn left to stay on Utica St
24. Continue onto Indiana Gulch Rd
25. Slight left at Lefthand Canyon Dr
26. Turn right at Lee Hill Dr
27. Turn right to stay on Lee Hill Dr
28. Turn right to stay on Lee Hill Dr
29. Turn right at N Broadway St
30. Turn left at Canyon Blvd
31. Turn right at 18th St
32. Turn left at Grove St
33. Take the 1st right onto 19th St
A lot of that at the end is just going though Nederland and Ward to get back to some of the state highways to get from Nederland to Ward then down to Boulder, just gotta go through the towns a bit to get to the right roads to get where we want to go.
That basically takes us up by Kittredge, Blackhawk, some small town called Rollinsville, Nederland, and then Ward before heading back out to Boulder. If we don't go all the way north to Ward and head to Boulder from Nederland, it's about 15 miles shorter. Google says about 2 hrs 20 mins and 85 miles, about what we did today.

I created an album of the pics I had for the cruise. Should have some video of it later this week!
http://www.coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/album.php?albumid=182
We will be gone for the first two weeks in June, FYI. Won't be able to make Cruise or BBQ if it is in the June 2nd thru 12th timeframe.

Awesome! Hopefully you can make the next cruise. Right now we're planning it for May 22nd (Sunday again).
I'll have my pics up tomorrow hopefully. I've gotta get my friends CF card reader to get the pics off.

Looks great, man. If you end up cutting a second version, I'd recommend cutting down on some of the extended driving sequences. That should help pick up the tempo a bit and keep the excitement all the way through. But it's not like any of that is necessary.
Thanks for capturing the day with the pictures and this great video!
