We didn't really cruise anywhere unless we were going somewhere else to take more pics haha.
Oh yeah they care. We had a pics thread that was several hundred pages long, over 20,000 replies IIRC, and they closed that one because people were commenting on other's pics and some were getting butt-hurt that people didn't like their car or some were getting butt-hurt because others didn't like someone else's car, and some people were posting pics of other people's cars and sometimes they weren't even pics of FDs. I understand if it's not pics of FDs because it's an FD PICS THREAD, but seriously??? No comments of any kind?
Here is the title and first post, specifically the rules...
The official 'My FD3S' picture thread. READ THE RULES! Do's: * Post pictures of YOUR 3rd Generation RX7.
* Post pictures of YOUR 3rd Generation RX7 in the same picture as non-3rd Generation RX7's.
* Post respectful comments on other photos. There ARE respectful ways to post you don't like something.
Do Not's: * Post pictures of non-3rd Generation RX7's without YOUR 3rd Generation RX7 in the SAME picture.
* Post pictures of a 3rd Generation RX7 which you DO NOT own. Even if it's a friend's car, have your FRIEND post the pictures.
* Quote multiple pictures from the same post in your reply. Either remove the image tag from the pictures so they post as links or only quote "1" picture from the original post. People, it's not that hard!
* Post technical questions.
* Chit-chat about future mods, wheel fitment, where to buy such-and-such wing/sideskirt etc. The PM system works very
well for all of the aforementioned.
* Post pictures which have already been posted.
NOTE:Any post which violates the rules will be deleted, not modified. From time to time, the moderators will allow 'some' bending of the rules (for special events and/or circumstances). This is at the moderators' discretion, so don't expect the moderators to bend the rules often!
Archived thread of pictures:
http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=485128 I will say that so far they don't seem to have deleted any posts that broke the rules because people are still commenting, myself included haha. But here's the thing...say you have a question about someone's setup and someone else has the same question, is it easier/better to ask them on the thread so they can answer everyone's question at once or should we send 8 million freakin PMs???!
NAZI.
