I board. Haven't gone in a couple of years though. I plan to go but not until after the new year. We need to plan a trip with the folks down here.

I tried snowboarding. Went 3 or 4 times and even tried taking lessons, but I just can't get it down. :( I do fine on the front edge but I cannot get the back edge down, so the only way I can get down the mountain is to either go waaay too fast by not turning or just keep going back and forth across the run always facing up the mountain lol.

I plan on trying skiing this winter though. Hopefully it will go better.

I might like to jump in on a trip, I'd like to ski more than I have, mostly haven't because I hadn't known anyone who wants to hit the slopes on any given winter, and for whatever reason, the thought of driving into the central mountains alone to ski just never quite got my off my rear end. I'll never get my boots adjusted to be comfortable if I can't get out there and get some experience-- I might have been a beginner intermediate in PA, but on CO slopes, I'm just a rusty novice...

we should try and plan a group trip,, the bigger the group the more of a discount on tickets you can get... Im not sure if they do it up in denver, but down here in the springs they have ski buses... It goes to Monarch and its only $49 for the ride and the ski pass.. Could be something that we could do as a group..
