Feeler: HPR Meet 27th of May.

Postby Operator » Mon Apr 25, 2011 9:14

Just wondering, if anyone would be interested in a trip down to HPR on the 27th of May. Even if you don't track your car, I'm sure lots of fun can be had as a passenger. This would be my 1st trip, and it would be great to have some experienced tracksters come along.

I would for sure! I'm not certain i'll track myself, depends on whether i do the track day with nasa earlier in May. Either way i'd love to help out those who haven't been to HPR before.

While I love taking my car to the track I don't know whether this will be possible... yet. Come middle of may I might have a better idea about what my schedule looks like.
Put me down as 'highly interested'

If I go, I only plan to do half a day, in the am.

If I go on the cruise on the 22, and there is a very good chance that I will, then I might not be able to make this. I'm helping my parents renovate their house so they can sell it this summer (hopefully) and I don't think they'll let me be gone for half a day of work. Still it could work out and I'd love to ride shotgun in any of your cars or get some track 'lessons' from Andrew.

I might be changing my position and joining in on the track myself. I will be there regardless, but can't commit 100% to tracking myself right now. I don't know how open tracks days go at HPR (i have always been there with nasa), but if they are cool with me ridding shotgun i would be happy to help you guys out and provide some pointers if you want.

Alright, i'll be there and will be tracking myself too. I can still help out those who want help, we will figure out time ect. HPR does allow passengers so we are good to go on that end.

Can't wait for this!

Ah, that would be important. I only have one so i can't help you there, but from reading the open track day regs, any vehicle helmet will work; car or motorcycle.

I can't get Friday off, and with my car smoking about a quart every 150 miles I think it's best I pass on this one...next time for sure though!

I need to test #8 so maybe I can bring 7 and 8 both out on the 27th, kinda depends on whats going on. If JD and Chip can both make it that would work really well for me, and if Dave happens to be able to make it up with the EVO a few days early for testing so we could run a few laps at HPR that would work even better.

Sad news I might not be able to make this due to money problems. It depends on when I get my next monthly check.
