Buddy of mine texted me this event. Looks pretty cool I would like to go and see if other people wanted to go with me like get a group going before we leave. I dont know if I would register but if other people will do it, then ill do it lol. Heres a site and a facebook event link to it.

I'm actually considering. I saw a lot of s2000 guys are registering. Would be good to have you and the other fd drivers there.

SIGH, I guess I'll go if you guys go lol. As long as I'm around. I'm thinking about going home in April and going to NC for Deal's Gap and to see old friends in Fayetteville and Raleigh. Probably deploying in June again.

I'd love to do Deals Gap but no way to swing it this year...too much going on.

I thought Phil also said you couldn't go to DGRR? LOL are you just going to show up anyways?

Same with me trying to make it to Vegas for What Happens in Vegas every year lol, or with Deal's Gap also haha.

I never said I was going to DGRR, just Deal's Gap LOL. He said I'm not allowed at DGRR if I don't pay, which I won't. But there is nothing saying I can't go to Deal's Gap at the same time as DGRR and just not participate in any of the events, which I don't want to do anyway. The only thing we did in 2006 was drive, we did nothing with the main group, and that's what I plan to do this year. I'm pretty sure I can hang out with the others at their hotels since they paid for the rooms and Phil doesn't own that, and since he doesn't own the road I'm pretty sure I can drive with them too lol.

I'll probably go. Ill be gone for most of the month of April.. but it looks like I'll be back in time.

Speedjunkie, have you been to Dealsgap before? I went for the first time a few years ago.. and it was one of the best auto event I've ever been to. We were lucky enough to have almost only Rx-7 access to the tail of the dragon... plus a cop or 2. I've been planning a trip back ever since then.
