September 7th: Tech meet/Super Cruise

Postby RX-7 Chris » Wed Aug 07, 2013 9:14

I'm planning a tech meet at my house on Saturday Sept 7th. Tim is going to stop by and help me polish the heater cowl on my car. I plan to have a BBQ.

8am to 10am I will be at the First Saturdays Car Show in the Springs

Start time for the meet will be around 10am

I plan to leave at about 3:30 to 4:00 to head up to Golden for the Super Cruise.

Hopefully I'll have the car finished by then, and if so I'll do my best to make it. I'll try to go to the car show and to Golden as well.

^Sweet!

Chris, how about the idea of combining the tech meet with cruise day? Leaving the car show at 10 is a little early to head to Golden anyway.

I was going to have a bbq at my house where we work on the cars. Tim was going to help me do some buffing.

Do you think the BBQ and buffing would finish early enough to allow some curvy roads on the way to Golden?

Dang, I'll be in the springs at a weightlifting meet. I weigh in at 11, lift at 1. Probably won't be over till 330. maybe cruise north with you all though!

That should probably work.

I need a count of people so I know how much food I need to get.
