Happy hour/weekend social gathering

Postby Huzer » Fri Jan 16, 2015 9:14

Hey all. We haven't gathered in a while. Is anyone interested in just getting together to hang out and shoot the breeze? If it's a weekend gathering, it'd have to be later in the day, as my son has hockey in the mornings, potentially early evening.

Say, maybe the 21st of Feb to give enough time to gauge interest. I don't care about location. Someone's house, restaurant. I know most of you folks are further south, so I can travel down south.

If more interested in tech work, I'll be pulling the engine most likely on Feb 7th (if my parts arrive by then, I won't be ordering until I return from Daytona).

I'll let you know if I can make it. Daughter turns 2 on the 18th and I'm not sure when the party is planned.

Let's say the 21st. Pick a place, I can drive south, but don't know what's down that way.

What time are you thinking?

You could always to BWW by park meadows where we've been in the past.

Late afternoon/evening is when I'd have to do it. I don't have my son's hockey schedule for that weekend yet, but it's been fairly standard that we're done by around 2 at the latest.

BWW works for me, although I've heard a few people grumble about them not being very good lately. I'm not really going for the food though.

I would be down. Might even be able to get the Rx7 out and about. It's in bad need of some tuning and some road time... and some cosmetics.

Arapahoe Rd eateries
Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW)
Yazoo BBQ
CB Potts
Elephant Bar

Slightly North of Arapahoe Rd
Republic Pizza
Slattery's (don't really care for it personally)
Pappadeux's

I don't know if Yazoo serves alcoholic beverages.

hi

I don't care for slattery's much either.
Pappadeux's is great for oysters (ehhh sire!) but may be too sophisticated for most of our members.
CB's seems appropriate in the most mediocre way..

I would agree, CB Potts is probably the best option IMO.

Potts on Arapahoe on the 21st it is. My son has hockey early, so any time works for me. 4? 5? I'd prefer going earlier than going at something like 7 PM.
