Weber 36DCOE on S/P 12a

Postby Jon » Wed Oct 03, 2012 9:14

I have been trying for years to get my 12A street port to run correctly at altitude with a Weber 36DCOE. I originally purchased the intake system from Rotary Reliability& racing when they built me a street port 12a with a short primary RB exhaust, light steel flywheel and underdrive pulleys. It surges at constant speed and idles up and down. I currently have the stock ignition installed but I do have a Jacobs FC-1000 as well as 2 jacobs coils. As far as fuel delivery, I have a Holley Red with a pressure regulator set at 3 PSI. The original intake system was from Fast freddies and they were little help. I am an average mechanic and was wondering if anyone had some insight on jetting/timing etc. for a streetable carb setup or a good tuner on the front range? Thanks for your help
