I've have been looking into some heaters for the winter. Mr. Heater makes a nice one that would heat the garage nicely for around 100-150 bucks.

I got a propane forced air heater at Home Depot last month on clearance for $99 bucks. Works great, hooks up to the BBQ propane tank, and lasts a long time. It is pretty loud tho with the door shut...

Well, motor came in last Monday. I'm starting the cleaning process and getting the wiring harness re-wired and ready for install.

Thanks! I went over to home depot and picked up a heater. We'll see how well it works.

Everything looks sick bro, i almost did this swap but i fell in love with the 2jz so i went that rout instead.

Well, got around to installing it in the car on Saturday. Next step is to put radiator back in, connect coolant and fuel lines, and hang exhaust. The final pieces will be the wiring and hanging the GTO pedal for the DBW. I hope to start it this weekend but we'll see

Did you go with grannys subframe kit?? That LS2 looks like it doesnt sit any lower than my 2jz!! are you getting an aftermarket hood? I hear the scoot hood works perfect. You can also the the 2jz CF hood from tech2. It kinda looks like a shaker hood in a way but its a 1000 bucks.

Looks good Frank! That engine bay is beautiful. And I'm getting excited at the thought of having an engine bay that matches the outside of my car LOL.

Thanks, guys. Actually, I have Hinson's kit on there. The intake looks high because its not bolted down. It's just sitting on the motor. It probably sits about an inch lower than what's shown. Noone's had issues with the hood to my knowledge but I won't know until I put it on.

How much does an LS2 out of a GTO run these days?

When I first started looking they were around 7k. It took me awhile but I found one in Iowa for 6k. I sold my LS1 and some other things to offset the cost.

Damn, i was gonna say for an ls2 that sits high, cuz ive seen some ls1 rx7s with a subframe that doesnt lower the steer rack and they sit lower. I prefer Hinson products over grannys personally. Their products had alot of thought put in them and they look good. Their rad kit has me very impressed.
