Sounds like we are looking for about the same thing then. I've heard long runners respond a little better, but I'm not sure how true that is and I don't think I have the room for all that anyway.
That is a very simple manifold to fabricate. It is just SS tubing and some flanges. If you want I will work up a quote as to how much it would cost to make. I believe that currently there is on hand a t4 divided flange, and likely the tubing, but would need to order in the RB flange, the WG's (the WG's normally come with the appropriate weld flanges, saves you a little cost), and any tubing I don't happen to have on hand. Since I have a 13B S6 motor/mani/etc on hand as well as a pair of FD's, timely fabrication would not be an issue. Assuming someone wanted to move ahead, I can have flanges and WG's here next day (barring holiday/weekends), and have a manifold fabbed up within a week. Given the current turbo/exhaust setup a dp could also be fabbed, although it is preferable to have the actual car/turbo/dp on hand to fit the downpipe accurately. This takes approximately a half day to do, assuming once again parts are on hand.
Beware- We are gearing up for Daytona and will be fabricating new pit equipment etc. in the next few weeks. We expect to leave Jan. 3 for Daytona returning Jan 12 and leaving again Jan 21, so timing is critical. After Daytona there will be approx 8 weeks that we could do customer work prior to St Petersburg. After St Petersburg it gets really busy and will be harder to schedule in. Any and all outside work will need to be scheduled in advance and we WILL be keeping to a tight schedule.
If we can help we will be glad to do so. I mention the above because under no circumstances will we engage any work that cannot be completed in the alotted time. This means that the deposits, budget, parts, etc. will all need to be in place prior to accepting the contract.

Sorry I haven't been here in guys, Christmas time so working crazy hours, worked 14 hours everyday the past 3 days straight.
I heard back from Alex at Neukin. Discounts aren't great, he said $770 would be the cheapest he could do a run of manifolds for. He's a one man operation.
That being said, I am all for other options, I have no ties to Neukin. I was just contacting him to see what kind of deals could be hashed out.
I have heard of Gato Performance and their manifolds are pretty good. I've seen JDM Fatansy's work on 7club but had no idea of pricing, so that's good news. We have options. Looks like Neukin probably isn't the place to go with, I was hoping we could get into the $500-$600 price range. So I'm open to options.

^Yeah getting it done locally would be cool for that reason, but as long as it's quality and done in time to get all my stuff installed I'd be down for out of town too haha.
Eduardo, do you have another pic of that manifold saved on another photo site? I can't see imageshack pics on ANY computer over here for some reason. I can't even see my signature pic haha.

Well seeing as my car isn't driving right now, that isn't a big deal for me. We don't all have to go in together on a manifold if we don't want the same manifold haha, I was just throwing it out there so maybe we could get a group discount.
I'm really for whatever you guys decide, just my car isn't mobile (or have a motor in it) so it can't be used for test fit until the motor gets dropped in sometime in February.
I still have a friend up here who does NHRA legal rollcages and exhaust fab in a shop who can make us some manifolds, I just need to get pricing information from him.
I just don't want to pay $1300 for a manifold LOL. I mean come on, our manifolds are basically two flanges, two short pipes, and a wastegate, that's it. Not nearly as complicated as a twin scroll, equal length divided Supra manifold.

Yeah, I do NHRA, SCCA, SCCA Pro Racing, and Grand-Am legal cages, exhaust/turbo systems, intercooler piping, etc. Lots of fabrication is kinda a big part of what we do, building those race car thingys.
$1300 is a little much, but they have to pay for that robotic welder somehow. Full-Race makes some very very nice stuff and are great guys, but $1300 is a lot of money for an FD manifold.

No, I got that picture from 7club. Let me send a PM to JDM Fantasy to see his pricing on 3 manifolds. I also asked him if he can place my turbo where is at right know ah he said yes but I have to send my current manifold.
Here we go, got an answer from JDM Fantasy.
Good afternoon,
Would you be looking to replicate the Ebay manifold you're currently using, or go with something different? Would all three manifolds be built to same specs?
All of our manifolds are 304/316 stainless, including flanges. Flanges are .50". Build time is typically around 2 to 3 weeks for a new manifold (requires designing).
I can take $50 off each manifold and your price would be $600.
Thanks!
Casey

So here are the costs involved-
T4 divided flange, SS 48.00
V-band WG flange (Tial 44 style, others similar) 15.00
RB Cast SS flange 55.00
Stainless tubing- approx 125.00 assumes 304ss, 321 slightly higher
Parts cost- $200 inc shipping overnight
Labor for cutting, fitting, and welding will be appoximately 4 hours@95 an hour, and assumes fitting to take place on one of our two FD's here. Using your vehicle will likely not add any additional time, assuming the turbo/manifold, etc are not installed. Additional WG outlets added at 15.00 for the flange and $25 for the tubing/labor
A downpipe will consist of:
Turbo outlet flange, 3" SS 4 bolt, 3" V-band, similar 48.00
DP to midpipe or cat flange, SS- 28.00 for standard, $45.00 for V-band, 85.00 for complete v-band assembly (need to price check this as current pricing may actually be lower)
02 bung, ss- 12.00
3" ss tubing- 50.00
Parts cost assuming 3" tubing and V-bands- $115.00, price lower with standard flange
Labor for DP- 1.5 hours cutting, fitting, and welding, assumes your actual car here in shop for fitting @95/hour
Obviously, all manifolds are TIGed, braced, and fit.
The way we do custom work is all parts paid for up front, labor is due upon completion.

That sounds awesome man, thanks for looking into that! I think this may be the option I'm leaning towards. Does he offer any kind of warranty on his manifolds?
I know Eric wants dual wastegates and is a little concerned about fitment of his new turbo. I only need a single wastegate, and I would prefer a divided T4 setup. So we might have some small varying details, unless Eric wants a single wastegate. Ultimately, the core design of all three manifolds should be the same (i.e. runner length/size, flange placement, etc) just probably different wastegate options.
I have a manifold ready I can send to him if we need one as a "core" for design or whatever.

We are talking about a single 46mm WG right? I can settle for a single WG too. Dual is the shit bacause you can have better control of the boost also better spool. Single is fine with me. Dave how about the location of your turbo? do you want it where mine is ? If so our manifold should be identical.

Yeah, single 44mm wastegate, I already have the wastegate and everything. I agree dual is better (obviously) but it does add complexity and cost. Maybe when I go S475 or something I'll swing dual gates then haha.
I actually have two manifolds currently, both are eBay variety. One is brand new and never used, the other is modified and came with the turbo I bought. The only modifications is a brace on the turbine flange, a different wastegate flange, and a 1/2" divided T4 flange used a spacer, so essentially the T4 turbine flange is twice as thick as normal to let the turbo sit up higher and avoid contact on the frame. I can post pictures if needed. I was told by the previous owner of my kit that the compressor housing would hit the frame without the spacer.
