I think making it to the CS Friday meet sounds perfect! Perhaps TOMORROW lol.

Ahhh, I love windy roads.

If Colorado Springs wasn't a good 2+ hours (even hauling *** in the FD) away I would be down haha. That's like 2 tanks of gas in that car! Eric you know what I mean!

I'm still holding it down for the pistons. It is kind of lonely though!

Currently working on getting the exhaust clip uploaded...

Also I found this vid on YouTube linked from 7Club:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7C7hMjE4lmM"]YouTube- 9.85 @ 142.99 Low Boost ! 620hp. Stock Motor *Record*, Stock Transmission Stock Suspension[/ame]

Running 9.85 @ 142.99 on a completely 100% STOCK motor running Jesus Juice (aka E85). This guy is my new inspiration.

Next mods I would do Radiator and AST. Then get PFC and rid of all emissions. This isnt the car that came from the a young guy that had turbo issues. I looked at one I think in longmont sounds like the same one but it had turbo oil leaking issues. He told me it would cost about 700 bucks for the parts at mazda. Either way congrats and have fun with it.

Also getting rid of the midpipe will help with drone. But you will need a boost controller to keep it from spiking. Stock twins dont like going to much over the normal boost for to long.

Yeah, thanks man. I already have an AST I just put in and radiator is coming in a few weeks. Still can't decide between KOYO or FLuidyne...Koyo is $275 and Fluidyne is $475 but I've heard the Koyo has fitment issues. Others say it fits fine and there are construction/quality issues with the Fluidyne.

It might have been the same guy, he told me he sometimes got a "puff" of smoke at WOT shifts. I've only gotten it a few times. The main issue was the actuator for the secondary turbos exhaust door (turbo control actuator) wasn't hooked up at all (the rod on the door) so exhaust gases would blow the door open so it was spooling both turbos all the time but still only getting air from the first turbo since the air control valve was still blocking the secondary turbo flow until it was supposed to come online. Thus the car had no balls down low and at 5,000rpm I got a massive kick in the pants.

Now with it hooked up properly it runs fantastic and no smoke. Much more kick in lower rpm haha, it's even difficult to find the room/road to get the secondary turbo/injectors online.

PFC is coming up so I can delete the emissions BS, I'm also deleting the OMP and running straight premix. I've already started premixing a little. Deleting the emissions and installing the block off plates is a big job so I'm not looking forward to it haha. I'm gonna convert to "Rich man's" non-sequential, get the twins manifold ceramic coated, paint the LIM and UIM, and remove the rats nest as a result. I will also put in a boost controller then along with a resonated midpipe. I got it all figured out haha.

Right now the biggest question I am debating with is doing the E85 conversion...I would need serious fuel supply (like twin Bosch 044 in-tank pumps ona CJ Motorsports hanger, full AN hose fuel supply line with -8AN feed, -6AN return and CJ rails along with Injector Dynamics [Paul Yaw company] 2000cc secondary and 1000cc primary injectors) so it's a big investment, plus the issues with finding E85.

I wouldnt convert to e85 just do water injection. I would still do at least 1680cc or the 2000 but i wouldnt change the 550 since they are mainly for idle low duty no boost driving. but sounds like youve got a plan cant wait to see the progress.

I already have water/meth injection on it right now. I live by the stuff but E85 is still a better system because it's a dedicated fuel and not an auxiliary injection system.

Injector Dynamics (ID) injectors are really amazing because you can run 1,000cc primaries and still have great idle because they can handle low duty cycles as well as high duty cycles. They are some of the most advanced injectors out there- look into them.

I've been around rotaries for a long time, built a pretty freakin fast RX-8 and have been planing out this FD build for YEARS haha, so I know what's going on.

I dont doubt the knowledge lol. I will look into these when i decide to upgrade. whether it is turbo first or can we say 20B??????

I still want to pick up a FC to build a track slut out of...one day...and it will have a 20B (maybe)

One of the other best things about ID injectors is there are perfectly measured...so a 2,000cc injector actually flows 2,000cc. No more messing with guessing around in your EMS as to what your injector actually flows.

So like......first things first, get a dual oil cooler setup because rotary engines are oil cooled haha

whats really the benefit of running e85 versus say c16 or some other race fuel?
