Oh it'll be in front of the shock towers, that's right. I forgot about that. Well that's not as bad then, I was thinking it was the whole front clip. You could see some real problems if THAT wasn't done right lol.

I received the windshield trim mounting clips and the Unleaded Fuel Only sticker last night. That was the last of the stickers I needed.

I spoke with the paint guy. Body work is getting done. The car still needs the front end cut off. I have the list of parts I need to buy and I'll be ordering everything today. I'll post my order list later.

That's great. How is he stripping the car? Is it going to metal? The body work thing is very curious to me.

He isn't sanding it down completely to bare metal. He is basically sanding it far enough into the paint to give the new paint something to grip to. By sanding the paint he is able to find any imperfections that are too small to see otherwise. He said those little imperfections will be very easy to see when the paint is very glossy. After he is done with the sanding and filling, he will be putting down a coat of buildup primer and then sand that. Once he has all that done it is into primer and paint.

The front is cut off the car. I went over last night after work to help a little. I cleaned the radiator and helped with sanding and taping. The first layer of primer was laid last night after I left.

So that coat of primer he was laying down...is that the high build layer? Iassume it is. When does te other front end get attached?

Thanks for the pictures!

Nice list by the way.

Yes the layer of primer he laid is the high build. He had two other layers of primer to do before he starts on the base coat. the new front end will go on today or tomorrow.
