Well 725 it is, I'm looking for a good 350 to 400 whp for right now. I heard is kind of hard to get the idling right on 1000cc primaries. Dave are you down for the tuning ?

It's super tough, pretty much impossible, to get the idle right on 1000cc injectors that aren't ID haha. ID 1000cc injectors don't put up as much of a fuss, you can get them to idle right. On my old 1000s it was impossible, I never got it to idle right. Actually, the idle was OK, but it was dumping in fuel and making it lope like a bridgeport, which I didn't mind the least bit LOL. You could never lean it out. You'd be OK with ID 1000cc as primary but at the HP you're looking for there is no need to go past 725cc for primary. DEF get the 2000cc secondary though.

I always say get the largest secondaries you can and run the smallest primaries you can. The secondaries are basically your "extra" injectors and only come on when you need them, so they don't really hurt driveability or anything. I plan on keeping my stock 550 primaries for a while until I have to upgrade them.

Haha! I was! But only because you are shooting for a good deal of power. Also, the ID injectors kind of break the rule, since you can actually idle with them.

^And now Rich is telling me to run 10s and 10.5s for spark plugs and I have a stud kit on the way to him since he found out I want to run 25psi, even though I believe I'd told him before that I wanted to get 500whp lol. Oh well.

So, July will be good. Is there anything that needs to be done to your car when you get back from the sandbox or will it be ready to drive?

There's a lot to do on my car gotta rebuild the engine, install all kinds of supportive mods is going to be a while before i hit the streets. I'll also like to get 500 at the wheels but not now.

Well if you want 500 to the wheels I'll give you my spec sheet and we'll make a replica LOL. Although my 500 to the wheels is at sea level, not up here. If you want 500 up here you'll have to go T88 or something haha.

Sounds like a fun project though. I'll be down to help, but I've already promised so many people that I'd help (Dave included) so we'll see when I'll be there lol.

Yeah about that, Eric, you are still YET to come up here!! Haha

Eduardo, you should get the Borg Warner S366XL turbo...it's a beast and can support 600+ in our altitude.

Yeah I know, that's why I said that LOL. I kinda have my own issues to deal with at the moment though LOL. Once I get mine back on the road and tuned, I'll make it up there. I'd much rather do the work in the summer anyway haha.
