so after a long wait and even longer conversation with jegs and painless it turns out the harness has been discontinued and I cant get it through them. So now ill just wire it up the hard way and use the refund to get more parts instead.

so its been a while since ive had a chance to work on the rex, had to rebuild the top end of the Range Rover, but after that nightmare I was able to focus on the 7 again and with a little wiring.... The ls1 roared to life! the open-header monster belched fire and came to life for a whole 3 seconds... then it shutdown. fired it up again and it roared to 2000!!! then shutdown again... did it 3 more times then triple checked all the wiring. I now belive that since the engine was removed from a firechicken the VATS was never disabled. So now its time to disable the security in the ECM and a couple other things while im in there...skip-shift...rear O2...purge...etc... After that we'll see if it will idle for more than a few seconds. The driveshaft, clutch master, and all lines will be in hopefully soon but if its anything like the last time I ordered from Hinson it'll probably be a month.

You need to hurry and get the car done and take it to a meet or cruise.

All the clutch parts are in and work great! BTW I dont know how much room is in the transmission tunnel of an F-body but when a t-56 is crammed into the chassis of an FC there isnt much room to bleed the slave cylinder... not much room for anything else either.
The master & res. fit nicely in the corner. It dose however have a MUCH stiffer pedal now.

Frank put a remote slave bleeder on his car that's really cool.
