Are you running the stock snails on the Toyota engine? And keeping the Toyota engine pretty much stock?

I would advise going with a standalone ECU, it will make things MUCH easier than a chipped one.

I would love to go stand alone ecu but after spending 8k on parts alone just drains me haha ( gotta love spending bulk amounts of money on car parts). So im going with all stock parts for now. even after stock parts will put me at around 325ish hp. after i get her on the streets im looking into a greddy TD06 and custom headers etc, and then for an AEM ecu, the problem is i have to find something that will control the VVT-i, thats another reason i just have the ECU chipped right now. If i go bigger turbo i need a new ECU cuz the VVT-i only limits me to about 500hp, i think. if i go that high i would just de vvti the whole thing and get performance cams etc.

WOW is right!

Looks like you will need a hood with a buldge on it to fit over that beast!

G/L, can't wait to see it running, :)

Thanks guys...i ended up having to switch sump set ups from a front to a rear sump cuz my front sump would hit the steer rack, luckily Tech2 motorsports had an extra mid/rear sump assymbaly laying around :D.

If i get that t66 thrust bearing turbo the LS1 fd's wont have a chance, if i can grip that is haha or if they did some crazy ass mods themselves

T66 turbo and then is time for a standalone haha. And the AEM can control variable camshafts.
