Wrecked my 8

Postby Army RX8 » Sun May 30, 2010 9:14

Well at 8:00 this morning i wrecked my 8 at gate 2 of Ft. Carson. Waiting for USAA to come take a look at it on tuesday but i get the feeling that they'll probably total it out.

I came out of the off ramp from 115 when i slid accross the road and side slide into the concrete abutment on the other side. The car hit flush and deployed the side airbags.

I know i totaled the axles, the rear tie is recessed into the wheel well. The rims are shot and obviously the tires too. The front facia all the way down to the rear is all gnarled up.

Looks like i may be in the market for another RX-8. For some reason the pics wont upload, but the car is at Walts Towing yard.

Damn man that sucks, sorry to hear that. Sounds like you are ok though. Any injuries from the airbags either? I'm guessing you were going a little faster than usual...LOL.
