So this is the Ti-Grey RX-8 that was ArmyRX-8s. I got it sometime in July and have slowly been reparing it. And I mean slowly.
I only have a few pics.
What I've done so far is replace the main airbag module under the dash. That required taking the whole dash out. I have the Side Curtain Airbag and Side Crash sensors coming in tomorrow. I bought 4 used 2-toned seats. Cheaper than buying the airbag for the seat. I'm gonna re-paint some interior peices to a darker shade of grey and re-paint the door panels red again. (I peeled all the old paint off) I'm still looking for the Driver Rear Suspension (control arms and links). After that it will be mobile again. Probably will do the body work late Spring.
The car was hit and fixed before on the back door. There are rivit holes and bondo where they pulled the metal.
Pics sent before I ever saw the car.

Pics while taking out the dash.

All the parts stuffed in the back and the body damage

Just need to find a deal on an AP. That's all the performance it's gonna get.

Well some noise makers too. I don't think I can drive with a quiet exhaust and I already have the old K&N in there.

Quiet exhaust FTL. I'm considering getting an aftermarket catback again even though I will get no power gain from it just because my current setup is a tad too quiet for my liking.

LOL... yeah when the only thing in place to quiet it down was the muffler. Well the Turbo helped.... a little. With the resonator in it's hot cakes.

The second pic makes it look like a slammed low rider.

Now it looks all lifted where I have it. Looks almost like that ugly BMW car trying to be an SUV. What is it an X5 or something?

Yea, when it was straight pipe, no muffler, no resonator from the turbo back. That's when I put the stock catback back on. 1 resonator 1 high-flow muffler would be perfect.

That's it. Looks like a lifted Sedan. Need some rediculously big rims and it could be the first factory donkeyed vehicle.
and 1 Resonator and 1 muffler is all I have. It's perfect. I think I have a 12" resonator. We had a 16" (I think) in there and it was tooo quiet.
