Well to start this off yesterday on my way back from csu pueblo I ran into the unfortunate issue of having my heater hose blow a major leak. I shut the car off and coasted to a safe place at about the time the temp gauge reached 3/4,( I do have the early 86-87 temp gauge) and when I put the key back to the on position once safely stopped had the gauge pegged on the H. Let it cool down got a hose from the close by oreillys and put it on only to find out once car got warmed it continued to heat up at idle with the fan on high and start spraying water out the overflow tank. So water seals are toast for sure just got to take the engine apart this week and see if any other engine damage occured. I'll keep people posted, but actual rebuild will be postponed till after the wrx transmission is fixed, just need to find out what got damaged so I can slowly source parts.

Hopefully it is but I won't know till I have it apart. Going to document the whole tear down and rebuild for one of my aim instructors so he can learn and teach a little about the rotory engine.
