I know some of you folks MUST have some DIYs out there. Let's get 'em posted![/b]

Good evening,

Today I made two "Free" mods to my car. I have an 07 3S Hatchback with an AEM CAI and the Eibach prokit spings. The mods I did took about 35 minutes and that includes jacking the car up. I have the Prokit springs and the front has sagged a little and I cannot get my floor jack under the front with out raising the rear first. So more about the mods...

I did the throttle body grounding mod and the advanced timing mod. I ended up pullin the negative battery lead off when I was doing the throttle body mod so I guess my ECU got reset. After I did both mods I let the car idle for about 10 minutes to let the ECU re-adjust to the new timing. durring the 10 minutes I would occasionly rev it up to about 5k and then slowly drop it down.. It finally got back to a 600 RPM idle after about 5 minutes of idling.

I took it for a quick test drive tonight. The throttle response seems a little quicker and th ecar seems a little peppier above 4k rpm. :koolaidman:

That is all!

The Pro-Kit on a hatch is the sexiness! I had them on my old 3 and it was my favorite mod! Get some pics of your 3 up.

A Kiss a Meter A very beautiful girl walked up to a department store's fabric counter and said, "How much is this?" "Only a kiss a meter," replied the smirking man assistant. "That's fine." replied the girl. " I'll take for meters." The assistant quickly measured the material, wrapped it and then gave it to the girl. Taking it, the girl turned and pointed to an old man standing beside her. "MY grandpa will pay the bill." she said. Get a can and put a small amount of fluid in it, then get some vacuum line that is just big enough to fit over the end of the bleeder and about 2' or so long. Put the line over the bleeder and loosen it. Put the other end in the can so it is completely submerged in fluid and pump until there are no more bubbles coming out of the line. tighten up the bleeder and your done.
