Short version:
was a sunny 80* day out, and the car was outside the whole time until I started. I took an piece of zip-tie and started at the front where it was angled. Just pulled it out slowly enough till I could use my fingers.
At about a 45* angle I slowly in a smooth motion pulled the molding all the way down. I did the same thing, but started at the back where it was angled again.
The side that was sitting in the sun left some sticky stuff on it, so I just used my finger and rubbed it off. I couldn't see any residue left on after using my finger.
Once both sides were off, I used windex and a paper towel to clean andthing that might have been left on that I couldn't see. You can see where the sun hasn't hit the paint yet, but on M3F.com people were saying it goes away after a couple days.
PICS!
Hope it works for you!
