Yea, I figure I'll give him a week but I'm not holding my breath. My only concern is that his 'trying to make it right' would be the same level of quality that he does to his own car. His car that he showed up in was an old Honda civic in a sad, sad state. When it comes to my car, it has to be pristine. If there's a squeak, I find the source. If there's a rattle, I fix it. If I lose an OEM screw or fastener, I replace it with an OEM one from Mazda. Having this kid and his friend take possession of my car and try to do any work without my supervision...I just don't know. I have 15mm wheel spacers I'd love to put on, but I'm waiting to get these things rolled (after I get this fixed) if it's even possible.

Does anyone know of a shop or someone who has done this before that would help me out?

Shadowden wrote:Check with Geo. He hooked up with a MS3 fender not too long ago (maybe 6 months ago). It was unfinished and apparently OEM. Given the issues were caused by them, I would esentially get the parts you are happy ith and comparable to what is on te car, have it painted at the shop of your choice, and have them pay the cost.

Why were you having your fenders rolled (I can't see the pic)?

It's hard to tell from these pics, but I have about 1-finger wheel gap when it settles, and I have 15mm eibach wheel spacers to throw on. I'm pretty sure these will rub...maybe I could trade these in for something less aggressive like a 10mm and forego the fender rolling?

I would NOT take it back to them to have it fixed.

If you find a fender the only place I can recommend for painting at the moment is Rickenbough. They are expensive though. I used them on the Blue 8 last year for an insurance job and it came out great. If they were not so expensive I would have taken the grey 8 there. As far as custom work though I don't think they want part in it. They just mainly do Insurance work.
