I've heard they do good work. I think that is where all the rx-7 guys go.

I've said the same thing... get a compression test, been saying that for a while now.
I'm sorry about the motor man, but what happened? Please don't tell me you were making WOT passes on an untuned turbo RX-8.... get a compression test, and if by some miracle, your motor lives, drive it like a sissy girl, DO NOT make ANY WOT pulls until it's at least tuned, hell, at least get a decent OTS map in the car. Turbo-ing a car, and then driving it under load without tuning is a very bad idea. Not trying to be a dick, I feel for you man... I've blown a few motors myself (EJ205, 3S-GTE & 4G63), I know the feeling, it's painful. I hope you get everything sorted out, and the car back on the road.... even if it's blown, consider it a lesson learned... how much would it cost to rebuild it?
I don't know much about book rates for rotaries, how much do people usually charge to rebuild rotaries?
Don't jump to comclutions until you do a compression test. This is what I have been saying for how long now.[/b]

If it's blown depending on what I have to replace I'm looking at at least $1000. I know Pineapple sells a Turbo'ed Renesis but I'm not sure how much. I'm gonna wait and see what the compression test says and then if need be tear it down and go from there.

If you have to rebuild the motor you're looking at 3k+ to have someone else do it.
