I need mod ideas, basically the Best bang for my Buck!:D I have changed my air filter to a K&N (2004 m3 fits my new 2010 ms3). I am looking for big power gains (chips, intakes, exhaust, maps, cams, whatever). Let me know!

Chips don't work on our cars.

Intakes have good gains, from what I've read. But I've heard that with the MZR engine, a new downpipe, upgraded TMIC, and a map give the best gains. Then again, I'm 100% stock, so I'm clueless. :)

^^what he said, also a turbo inlet pipe is good too as the stock one flattens out drastically as it wraps around the motor, plus it sounds sooo nice after you put that and a CAI on :)

Pick up the Sep 09 issue of DSPORT magazine. They got some nice gains with the mods that they did.

My first mod, before I do ANY power mods, will be the rear diff mount from CPE. Yep.

That's a BITCH to install...OMG you need tiny Japanese hands, I'm not kidding. I think it took 3 of us over 5 hours to install it on a guys MS6 in AZ.

It's worth it tho. But there is also some kind of brace you do with ratchet straps. Ghetto? Yes. Works? Yes.

I love this quote. Can I make it my signature?

If I were you, I'd go:
Intake - $200
Inlet - $200
BPV - $200
TMIC $500 (used)
Test Pipe -$100
Engine Mgmt (AP or SB B) )- $550 - $700 (used ;))

About $2k and you got yer' self a car

Downpipe and you have no traction...

All can be individually installed in minutes

Sure! Haha

+1 on the motor/trans mounts, I know they suck on the Speed cars. I don't know about the 2010s tho?

anything to increase airflow will increase power (i feel as if this should be a smartass answer...but this was actually a serious thread/question lol)

read up on how turbochargers work that will give you the best insight on the best airflow modifications and upgrades.

a standback/standalone/piggyback will add big numbers too.

dont forget to strengthen your mounts otherwise power will be lost in the train.

anyone can throw names of parts and all that $hit, but the more understanding YOU have on how your engine/turbocharger works...the better you can choose your own parts. start there.
