So here it is.....my "new" ETS TMIC from rmeeker13....Thanks a ton.....So far it is an AWESOME mod.....It pulls like a MOFO....and feels great...the sound is the only thing that I have get used to...sounds more like a supercharger whine....but I love it..... The FMIC project is still in progress....I needed to order some more parts and they have been on back order for a bit.....soooo I figured that I needed something....

if you ever sell it, hit me up!
It was a great deal!!! and I'll let you know if I do sell it..ever....I plan on checking the numbers between the TMIC and FMIC when it is complete....see which one is better....
Do you have the shroud that goes around the outside that the hood ducting seals onto? Or does the CX7 not have all that? If it does and you're not using the shroud you're losing some effectiveness as that keeps all the air coming in through the hood ducting going over the TMIC and not dispersing throughout the engine bay.

The shroud is not needed on the CX-7.....the cover that vents the air into the TMIC sits on the TMIC....unlike the Speeds....which attach on the hood....That's why some places sell the CX-7 TMIC as a different part #....it's just without the shroud...
Ah ok. Haven't seen under the hood of the CX-7 so didn't know. Congrats on the purchase. It looks good.

That shroud doesn't fit over aftermarket TMICs on Speeds. So once you ditch the crappy stock TMIC, you also ditch the nice looking cover.

I intentionally stayed away from the Forge because of the swords clashing sound, but a lot of people like it. The Synapse you can barely even hear unless you're dumping 17+psi.

After adding the TIP the sound changed....didn't really like it...that's why I bought the Synapse....But after adding the TMIC it has more of a normal BOV sound.....not the ping sound anymore....I'm happy with it....for now:D
