You may want to reclean the MAF. Not sure about carb cleaner, but some cleaners can leave residue. They make a specific MAF cleaner (or electronics cleaner will work) that you can get at any parts store.

Yea, I saw that at the autoparts store for $9, and then the carb cleaner for $4. The search I did online says that carb cleaner is the stuff to use, but I may revisit this.

The little sensor in the MAF looks clear/brownish on one side and flat black on the other side. I'm not sure what it looked like before, but I hope it's not the carb cleaner that did that. I may pick up a MAF cleaner next time I drive her.
Can anyone confirm what that little sensor bulb-looking thing should look like

I found a new MAF for $80 - I hope I don't have to go that route - however I drove around today and it felt fine - this tells me the readings are correct, but maybe when I"m balling in money, I'll buy a new MAF for peace of mind.

Unless it was growing hair, you got it clean. It usually doesn't take much, especially for so new a car.

Car runs strong again and looks good doing it. Sunday win.

Are you sure the interior cleaning didn't fix your problem?:D

Glad you got it worked out. I'm surprised you had a lot of water in your intake from the car wash.

Thanks...it was at a Loaf n Jug. It's a good carwash, just not for monkeys like me who have tinkered with their car.
