HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump)

Postby Number2 » Sat Feb 02, 2013 9:14

What is up guys,

The time has come to go turbo-back exhaust :61424796: ...I'm thinking corksport because the sound is compelling and rich.
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSK6GjNVz8U"]MazdaSpeed 3 CorkSport Turbo-back Cat-less Exhaust - YouTube[/ame]

So with this, I'm going to require fuel pump internals to be upgraded so I won't go ZZB (zoom zoom boom).

I'm searching on the other forum, but I'm going to require some help. What kit to buy as well as installation help. Or I may have to take it to a shop as I've never done this project before.

Recommendations/thoughts welcome!

Thank you sir. I am running the hypertech. It's been good with all of my mods (basic bolt-ons) so far, and I remember reading that it should be good with a downpipe.

Do you know if edge could help with the install as well?

I wouldnt trust it with a down pipe IMO. Spring for the AP it will be worth it all around.

I think you're right. It would def. be worth upping the power alongside the TBE.

/Suddenly plans for spring upgrade get slightly more expensive $$$ :7d056312:

8k? Are you going from bone stock to built motor and big turbo and full suspension? 8k should buy just about every mod you can do to an MS3 lol.

I wish I had 8k to spend on my car right now. Could supercharge it and finish the suspension and have a 600hp beast. :\
