Thanks goes to Dwduc for coming out last Friday to look at the car. We really didn't figure anything out though, lol. We swapped out the ignitors and the ECU just because I had extras. I still need to check the fuel pressure to see if that is my big problem. I did finally get the gauge from my Dad.

The car hasn't flooded all week (knock on wood) so we must have done something. The car now idles too high (1000-1200 RPM) so I need to figure out why.

Flooding was a common problem with the fuel injected first gens. My dad was a Mazda mech at the time and would install on/off switches for the fuel pumps on customer cars. FD's don't flood since they purge the rotors for a few revolutions while cranking, but the GSL-SE will try fire as soon as you turn the key. Great if it fires, but if it doesn't you're hozed. I think you should consider installing a pump cut switch. It may still flood, but you can clear it in a matter of seconds.

Best of luck!

Good to know. Talking with some other SE owners, they've all said welcome to GSL-SE owning.

I thought about adding a switch. I should just do it.
