Just came in yesterday! (just the upper piece in the picture)

It replaces a factory piece. The GT Spec piece is very lightweight. I'm not sure how much the factory piece weighs. I've heard this is a very beneficial piece to add for chassis strengthening.

Is that the actual piece? was it powder coated because all the Gtspec parts I have seen for our cars is orange. Either way nice! I have the gtspec trunk cage and strut brace, they are really good products.

Yeah, it was powder coated black by the seller. I would have perferred to have it orange- or even the new blue that GT Spec parts are being made with. But whatever. I saved some cash by getting it used.

It's a brace to stiffen the chassis up- so it could be used for autoxing, track days or just normal street driving.

I would also like to get the AutoEXE lower arm bar (Corksport says they don't stock it and will take 5-6 weeks to get), along with the other chassis stiffening pieces. I've been eyeing up that trunk cage over at Street Unit...............

so this stiffens up the chassis, but does it compromise the ride quality much? I am think from a daily driver point of view.

I don't think so, but I'll keep you posted on that.
